The system automatically determines the required sheet length from each coil’s width and outside diameter before cutting and feeding the protective sheet. Where space is limited, a sheet accumulation arrangement can reduce the equipment footprint, while multiple sheet sizes can be accommodated for a broad range of coil dimensions.
Strapping Systems
Compack provides automatic and semi-automatic strapping systems for steel, aluminum, and other metal products, including hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel coils, aluminum coils, slit coils, wire and wire rod coils, tube and pipe bundles, steel bar and structural profiles bundles, sheets, and plates. Depending on the application, the systems can be configured for radial (ID), circumferential (OD), or combined ID/OD strapping using steel, polyester (PET), or hybrid strapping technologies.
