Infeed Storage
Coils are organized for controlled infeed into the automatic coil packaging line.
Material Handling
Coil cars transport and accurately position coils between the individual packaging stations.
Weighing & Measurement
Coil weight and dimensions are recorded for production accuracy, quality control and product traceability.
Wrapping & Edge Protection
Protective wrapping materials are applied through the coil eye or around the coil circumference to protect the surfaces and edges of the coils.
Strapping
The protected coil is secured with ID and OD strapping to maintain package stability and integrity.
Labeling & Marking
Identification labels and markings provide product identification, production data and traceability.
Palletizing
Packaged coils are secured on pallets when required for stable handling, storage and transportation.
Outfeed Storage
Finished packaged coils are organized in outfeed storage for subsequent handling, warehousing or shipment.
